The FIT Contract and related documents - Draft June 8, 2009 are the legal contractual documents outlining the development of the facility, financial, operating and other obligations of renewable energy suppliers providing electricity under OPA Renewable Energy Feed-In Tariff Program.
ReplyDeleteThese draft documents have been informed by a broad spectrum of stakeholders involved in a series of technical consultations beginning in mid-March.
Comments and feedback on the contract and associated documents are welcome until Friday, June 26, 2009 and must be provided through the Submission tool of the OPA FIT website.
The OPA is continuing to work closely with FIT implementation partners such as the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the Ministry of the Environment on the broader Green Energy Act policies.
Electricity sector agencies including the Ontario Energy Board, the Independent Electricity System Operator, Electricity Distributors Association, Hydro One and local distribution companies continue to coordinate to provide greater certainty to make Ontario's FIT a success and we plan to launch this summer.
This is the latest news from the FIT website from June 8th. Feed-In-Tariffs are almost here! I especially love the very last phrase: "...and we plan to launch this summer."
